Jessie graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of physiotherapy with honours from Australian Catholic University. During her studies she completed research in physiotherapy treatment after a broken wrist and was involved in research looking at knee osteoarthritis and running.
During her time at uni, Jessie has done sport coverage for Manly United football club, AFL and gridiron. She enjoyed the combination of acute injury management side of game day, and the negotiated return to play from injury. Balancing the competing forces of a desire to play and injury recovery timeframes, whilst complex at times was rewarding.
Jessie has developed an interest in musculoskeletal injuries across the board and strives to optimise function and keep people doing what they love! Growing up and living on the Northern Beaches, Jessie understands well the active attitude of our population and how important it is to us all.
When not working, she likes to spend her time running (Curly Park Run), ocean swimming (The Bold and The Beautiful) and enjoys social netball. She is also planning the wedding of the century.
